Joshua Waters, Pharm.D.

Hello! I'm Dr. Joshua Waters, and I'm deeply passionate about making healthcare more accessible and personal for everyone.  I was born and raised in Cleveland county and I currently live in Catawba county.  My journey in the world of pharmacy began in the small town of Fallston, NC, back in 2004. It was there, in an independent pharmacy, where I first learned the ropes—from the intricacies of medication management to the importance of patient-centered care.

After a decade of growing and learning, I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wingate University in 2014. This milestone was more than just an academic achievement; it was a stepping stone to realizing my dream of entrepreneurship.
 

In 2015, that dream became a reality when I became Co-owner of Bowman Drug Company in Conover, NC. Owning a pharmacy allowed me to deeply engage with the community, offering personalized care and creating a welcoming space for everyone who walked through our doors.
 

But I didn't stop there. Driven by a desire to further break down barriers to healthcare, I founded Waters Consulting Services in 2020. This new venture has allowed me to form strategic partnerships with local Direct Primary Care (DPC) offices, where I've pioneered initiatives to provide low-cost generic medications directly to patients. It’s not just about dispensing drugs; it’s about ensuring everyone has access to the medications they need without financial strain.
 

When I’m not immersed in pharmacy work, I cherish the time spent with my wife and our two wonderful boys. Whether it's a quiet evening at home or an adventurous outing, it’s these moments that recharge me and remind me of the why behind all that I do.
