Miranda Kilby, DNP

Hey yall! I’m Miranda Kilby, the founder and driving force behind Rejuva-Care Direct Care. My professional journey began in 1997, and it has been a path marked by passion, dedication, and continuous learning.
 

Over the years, I have worn many hats in the healthcare field—from a Certified Nursing Assistant to a Doctor of Nursing Practice specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Each role has enriched my understanding and fueled my ambition to make a meaningful impact. My experiences in intensive care, case management, and as a critical care educator have been instrumental in shaping my approach to patient care, which is centered on empathy, thoroughness, and personalized attention.

At Rejuva-Care Direct Care, I bring all of my experiences together to create a healthcare environment where every patient feels valued, understood, and cared for. It’s not just about treating symptoms but nurturing a healthier, happier community.

Through this practice, I aim to reconnect our healthcare experience with its most crucial element—the personal touch that respects and honors each patient’s health journey. I'm here not only as your provider but as your neighbor and your advocate in health.

I'm married to the love of my life, Bobby Kilby.  Through our marriage God blessed us with a beautiful and smart daughter, Anzlee.  And, for some crazy reason, we raise a wiener dog named Carson and a rescue named Jackson.  I'm a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Casar, NC.  With God being the center of our professional and personal lives caring for people with my God-given skills is my calling..

• 2022: Awarded the Medal of Excellence by the American Association of Kidney Patients. This prestigious award, nominated and chosen by patients and peers, honors health professionals who have significantly advanced patient care, enhanced patient quality of life, and encouraged patient engagement throughout their careers.

Publications:

• National Kidney Foundation Spring 2021: Authored the publication "Advanced Practitioner Experience: Case Report on the Value of Genetic Testing in UMOD Mutation."

• National Kidney Foundation Spring Clinical Meeting 2021: Published "Case Report on the Utility of Genetic Testing in an Individual with CKD of Unknown Etiology," contributing valuable insights into kidney health diagnostics.
